CELTSCALE affects the linetype scale assigned to newly created objects. Existing objects may also have an individual Linetype scale property. Select the object and check its value in the Properties palette.

3. Check the Length of the Object

A short line may not be long enough to display a complete dash, text label, or shape cycle. Test the linetype on a longer line before assuming that the LIN definition is defective.

4. Check Polyline Linetype Generation

On polylines, the pattern can restart at each vertex. Set the polyline’s Linetype generation property as required, or review the PLINEGEN setting when the pattern looks fragmented around vertices.

5. Check SHX Support Files
